The A&O GAME ON rules must be read in full before entering.
- A&O GAME ON is open to all undergraduates at UK universities. Entrants must not be employed by Allen & Overy LLP or have accepted an offer of a training contract with Allen & Overy LLP. Entrants must also not have any connections with the competition organisers or their relatives.
- Teams should be made up of no more than 4 people.
- No entrant can submit more than one team entry.
- Teams should nominate a Team Leader who will be the main point of contact throughout the game.Entries for each module will be marked out of a total of 30. Entrants should follow the instructions for each module carefully before submitting their work.
- Teams can be entered for 'A&O GAME ON' at any point up to 26th March 2010.
- There are 5 modules to be completed within the challenge and all modules must be completed in order for teams to be considered for the Grand Final. Modules will be launched via the game home page every few weeks between October 2009 and March 2010.
- Our judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Allen & Overy regrets it is unable to return entries to competing teams, so please remember to keep a copy.
- The top scoring 5 teams as of 7th April 2010, will be invited to attend the Grand Final at our Bishops Square office in April 2010. All reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed by Allen & Overy LLP.
- The winning team will receive a prize of £1,500. This will be paid by cheque to team members. The prize must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred.
- The names of the finalists will be published on our website w/c 5th April 2010. Following the Grand Final, the winners will appear on the website. Finalists and winners agree to take part in any publicity as required.
- Allen & Overy LLP reserves the right to exclude any team entry from the competition at any time and at its absolute discretion if Allen & Overy LLP has reason to believe that entrants have breached these rules.
- Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them when entering this competition.
