GAME ON - NOW CLOSED

The deadline to submit all module entries for A&O Game On has now passed. Any entries received after the deadline will not be marked.

This module is all about your team getting involved with a pro bono or community activity which will contribute either towards your university communities or those closer to home. 

At A&O we really value team-working – the firm's core values reflect this and demonstrate the way in which we work together as colleagues and also with our clients.  We also look for evidence of this on application forms and at the interview stage of the selection process for vacation programmes and training contracts.

The type of project you choose to get involved with is completely up to you.  If you are unsure, why not speak with your student pro bono society representatives, University Law Clinic or friends who are involved with community projects for some ideas?

What do we need from you?  You will need to submit the following to aomodule4@allenovery.com:

  • 500 words explaining what you did and why
  • photo of the activity (please only submit those you are happy to have posted on our Photo Gallery)
  • a short reference from the charity or organisation you teamed up with.

All entries will be marked by our Pro Bono team and the winning entry will receive £500 for their charity or good cause they worked for during this module.
